Badlovers & Hysteria Iberika
In the beginning, there was one Badlover and one Hysteria Iberika. Cast your minds back, we are in the year 2003 in Lisbon, Portugal. Silvia alias Hysteria Iberika is on the mike, Gaby alias Badlover is on guitar, machines and voice.
This is not Gabyﾕs first band. A talented Musician since his youth, he has paced up and down several European stages, choosing the path of eclecticism. From 80ｫs electro to Rock, Punk, instrumental pop, experimental folk he is passionate about all good music.
She, Silvia, is new in the circle but she has energy to spare and some hot, hot, hot lyrics on the sly!
The chemistry works pretty well between Hysteria Iberika and her badlover. Everyone writes songs, for her in Spanish, and for him in English, and very quickly they have put together a repertoire allowing them to play live.
In 2004, Badlover & Hysteria Iberika launched their first album ﾓLa Vida Mataﾓ (Toolateman, EDEL), with a total of 10 songs on the menu. All the songs are signed ﾒGabyﾓ for the music except for ﾒTeenage Kicksﾓ and an Iberika cover of ﾒRing of Fireﾓ.
One can find some of the different music styles that have influenced Gaby in this album. With, In the background, Electronic music ﾐ via the use of synthesizers and mad electro rhythm ﾐ and of course Rock, mixed cleverly with his guitar playing and Silviaﾕs raw voice. The songs have a fast paced rhythm that brings us close to Punk rock energy with revolutionary vibes.

In 2006, Marcus the bassist joined the band. He brings a new vigor and a new substance. From now on, Badlover becomes BADLOVERS and hysteria iberika has never been in such good company
On stage, Badlovers & Hysteria Iberika is a swing-wing band, with a rising dynamic. The first set is performed by the badlovers with Marcus on the bass and Gaby on the guitar and voice. Silvia appears at the end of the set, swaying in some sexy outfitsﾉand the atmosphere is getting hotter, then when she takes control of the microphone, backed by the badlovers, itﾕs a true orgy of pure energy. We stomp, we shout and dance and sweat, we take off our shirts, and we want more!
