Ukrainian Kyiv-based vocal-instrumental trio "Polyanytsi" consists of three beautiful girls (Solomiya Gorokhivska (violin, vocal), Tetiana Chaban (bandura, vocal), Alona Ielizarova (flute, vocal)) who have been working together since 2004. The girls are professional musicians with higher music education gained in the National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv. The name of the trio originates from the legend of graceful but strong women-warriors who lived in the steppes of Ukraine in ancient times. The freedom-loving spirit of the Ukrainian amazons is expressed in the trioﾕs music: deep memories of the nation in the cords of bandura (Ukrainian traditional instrument), speed of movement and change in the passages of flute, human soul in the laments of violin are all combined with the most universal instrument - voice. The result is an unforgettable moment of Past and Future meeting in a virtuoso musical mix of ancient authentic intonations along with modern rhythms and styles. Colorful attires of the girls and a variety of dance moves augment musical compositions and create a unique fascinating show.

Trio "Polyanytsi" usually performs in Kyiv but frequently tours other Ukrainian regions and European countries. Young musicians were the participants of the artistic tour supported by the President of Ukraine Ukrainian language from west to east (2005), European tour ﾒVogni Podilyaﾓ (2007).
They are the laureates of the international song contest ﾒNa krylah Svityazyaﾓ (2006) and the all-Ukrainian contest ﾒPisennyj Vernisazhﾓ (2007).

The repertoire of the trio consists mainly of two parts. The first includes innovative musical compositions devoted to the Ukrainian amazons and their spirit. The second represents original interpretations of folk songs of Ukraine and other nations.
